    Starting Out on Youtube
So a week or two back I decided I should start a Youtube channel. I'm on my second video right now and still finding my feet and getting new equipment, but I'd really appreciate some constructive criticism or just some positive feedback

OK, thanks a lot guys, here is one of my videos (It's slow to start off with, which it admittedly shouldn't be)

    edit: Newest video

Your voice is monotone-ish, the content itself isnt bad but your voice makes it sound boring

I'm actually really impressed. For a second video you were pretty good! Compared to my early videos, it appears you're much more on the right track. I too had the same monotone troubles and it takes a while to find your 'on screen personality' so to speak. I like the creativity of it though, and the fact that you haven't just decided 'I want to do a YouTube' and just filmed yourself talking.

The only thing I've got to say it keep it up and stay creative.

My video blog is in my sig below if you want a look see. Though you should note that since I started back in September 2011, I've hidden some of my very earliest videos. The earliest video viewable on my channel is the fourth video I made.

    EDIT:

For the best video on how to create decent well principled videos, this is pretty much the best advice and are the rules I try and follow:

Thank you so much for the help, very informative and mature reply.
Yeah, I expect it'll take a while for me to find my persona.

    Thanks again!

Really not bad for a starting channel at all! I've subbed you. Your editing is really good. Also the fact you're male and English means about a billion 15 year old American girls will subscribe for your 'hawt British accent' when they discover your channel XD
