I actually don't think you'd look weird, OP. You need to prove me wrong.

Yes I do.. and I realized how many I took.. (im not vain it's just that I get really bored of the photo or I always find something wrong with it so I have to change it.. can never get a good picture)

And I think it's really annoying how people hate on someone that says "it's so ugly".. it's not like we're trying to fish for compliments.. we just don't see ourselves as being pretty and it's not as if you're gonna be like "I look so hot here".. when to other people you could look ****e. I guess it's just a confidence thing.
if they weren't fishing for compliments then they wouldn't put anything...

Never. I'm not very photogenic since I'm never sure what to do with my face so in all my photos I'm doing or wearing something silly. However what is starting to worry me far more is the number of girls I know posting pictures of their dinner, not because it's a particularly interesting dinner but rather that they have accomplished the amazing feat of cooking themselves a bowl of pasta. These people are 20+ years old with no hint of irony. One girl posted pics of some cakes she had iced to look like pokeballs. That's awesome. Other girl made a plate of salad, wtf does she want from me? Well done?! Pretty soon I'm expecting pictures of poop, 'look what I made!!!!!'. /rant

Anyone else have this, or do I just know a lot of really retarded girls.
I want to make pokeball cakes now!

i was just wondering because i never do because i feel vain/stupid... even though i don't think others who do that are vain/stupid (apart from a few who post "lol so ugly" and put it as their prof pic)...

i would just feel weird doing it even though most people do... opinions?

on very rare occasions i do. for example i was given a moose hat by my step-mum and she wanted a picture of me in it, plus my friends thought i was kidding when i said i had one. or if i have a new fancy dress costume/outfit for a night out and it happens to be a good picture i will also pop that up on facebook - but its in an album called random times, which has lots of odd pictures in it anyway, i would never do a pose/pout, usually just a small smile. i did a couple when i got my new laptop and was having a play with the web cam in it,happened to be a good pic so i wanted it as a profile picture and i had my haircut a couple of days ago and a friend was bugging me to see pics of it cos i dont see her often, plus i like to keep track of when i get my hair re-styled so i know what to ask for again or what really doesnt work for future reference.

*actually thinking about it i realise there is an album dedicated to just me on my facebook - i love hats, and was challenged "barney stinson style" to wear them all at the same time, all 36 of them. in order to prove i had done it i had to document it all with photos. the finished result was very impressive and my friends didnt believe i could do it, so had to post them on my facebook, and in order to show it was me my head had to be present in quite a lot of the photos as well. but thats more documenting an interesting afternoon rather than vanity on my part.

I used to when I was in like year 9 (only a few of them though), but then I realised how cringey it was and deleted them all.

I look terrible in most of my photos because I am drunk in 90% of my tags so I have given up now. I was lucky to be online to quickly untag some of the photos though.
I wish i could say that the reason why i look bad in most of them is because i was drunk.

Re: Do you take self-pics and put them on facebook etc.?
I've done it once, so that I had something on there before anyone else had taken photos. Generally I don't like photos other people take of me, but enough turn up that have some sort of interest to them (rather than just a photo of me and some friends on an ordinary night out) that I can change my profile picture every few months.

I get a bit funny about displaying photos of myself - it seems it's looked upon much less favourably when men do it. I've only recently been able to justify changing a TSR profile picture that was over 5 years old.

I do, but only put them as my profile picture. I never post them to my timeline or anything, not vain enough for that haha.
I mainly do it because usually I look worse in pictures I'm tagged in.

Sounds great, however I don't actually have either Twitter or Instagram the former irritates me and the latter I've only recently came across.
