    Help!
I left University after one year due to problems at home and didn't return, instead I got a job and have been working ever since (this was about 2 years ago).

I completely ignored my overdraft until now, and have had my most recent wages go into a seperate bank account. It's only when I moved house and came across some paperwork about my overdraft that stated it would be reviewed NEXT MONTH.

Naturally, I'm panicked! The overdraft has been maxed out for a while (had a stupidly money spending ex and I kept extending the limit to £1,400 to cover our costs). Its been sitting at £1,400 for a while now and has no outgoings or ingoings at the moment.

I don't know what to expect, especially seen as I haven't been a student in a while and to be honest just had a "deal with it tomorrow" atttitude.

Does anybody have any idea what sort of approach they will have? I'll happy pay it off in big chunks, but I'm just worried when they find out I haven't been a student that they'll smack on stupid interest. I'm going to call them tomorrow ASAP... but I'm just worried more than anything.

    Any advice?

You need to go and talk to your bank.

As its been 2 years you may risk having to pay a lot of interest on it.

    It's Natwest.

I've spoken to them and they said if I still use my bank account (put in at least £150.00 every 3 months) then I won't be charged.

A lot off my mind, but still a big dint in my overdraft I want to get rid off.
