What documents do unis require at registration?
I'm applying for taught masters programmes now and I wonder what are the documents they definitely check at registration? Do they check my undergraduate transcripts or even A-Level grades at registration? Thanks for whoever answers my question.

I am asking this because my A-Level grades suck quite bad and I do not want to show this to the unis.

They probably won't check at registration, they'll check what they want to when you apply to the programme.

It depends on the uni and on the programme. For the most part, everything required has to be submitted way before registration.

Most unis will do online registration and their most important criteria at that stage will be whether your fees have been paid (or covered by funding). Before you get to that stage they'll want to check that you have fulfilled any conditions on your offer and will make you a confirmed offer of a place.

I did a postgrad course a few years ago and had to bring along my original GCSE and A Level certificates to interview along with my passport. Then later in the summer when I had got my degree results I had to forward them my transcript.

I have an unconditional from Manchester this Autumn & they wanted to see only scanned copies of my degree certificate & GCSE Eng Lang cert as part of the online application. They have requested only my degree transcripts only after I confirm whether I want the place. They never asked about A Level grades. I have yet to apply for anything post-grad where they're remotely interested in my A-Levels. So don't worry, I pretty confident your degree is more important.
