HELP!! I think I ruined my future university options!!
Alright...just an introduction, I'm a year 11 student doing the igcse exams parallel to my final year exams(which are a-level topics). So basically I made the wrong decision of focusing on my school finals instead of studying for my igcses! I studied full time for my school finals and I didn't touch my igcse books or even check out some past year papers! So I deeply regret this fatal decision and I think I screwed up my igcses...I'd most likely still be able to salvage As for my subjects but the chances of A*s are getting slimmer...and my university choices are HKUST, NUS, NTU, HKU, U of T, top universities like that, and to make things worse, I need a scholarship really badly because my family's in a financial crisis...
So people, what do you think of my future if I get only As for my igcses but A*s for my A-levels? Thanks in advance for your CONSTRUCTIVE replies

I'm sorry to say that those particular institutions put a very large focus on your GCSE since everyone who applies has impeccable transcripts. Have you considered resitting any of your exams to bump the grades up?

If you do exceptionally well at AS and explain the situation to them you may still be in with a chance.

Good luck, you may still get more A*s then you think.
