dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.
this is beyond belief.
incompetent nurses at a hospital who scolded patients and left others in agony have played the 'race' card after a patient complains about the treatment. these people who play the race card seem to walk around in their own self important bubble; they literally think that they are beyond reproach because of their skin colour.
this was not just one person either playing the card, but the nursing staff teaming up to demonise a poor woman who they had abused through their negligence.
i think its about time an organisation was set up to give people greater legal powers to sue after they have falsely been accused of racism -- the irony of course being that false allegations of racism are in fact racist.
the other question is: how prevalent is this attitude? i dread to think what it must be like for elderly white patients who are too frail to defend themselves.
( yes, this is in the daily mail. so no need for the usual barrage of 'daily fails' blah blah -- people should be thankful for the mail for bringing to light shocking stories like this. )

Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.
I agree, its often the deluded Libtards and so called 'minorities' on TSR who bring about the 'DM fail' source line.
Fact is its one of only mainstream papers that reports the cases the BBC, Guardian etc won't. They wouldnt refer to coal as black for fear of being branded 'racist'. -
Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.to be honest i think there's a reason the other papers dont report the stuff the daily mail does...(Original post by badcheesecrispy)

At least the DM highlights our retarded society, even getting covered in crap by they're own readers whenever they bring up video games http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...ss-murder.html

Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.Your use of the word "libtard" pretty much negates any point that may have been otherwise valid. Sorry but I just can't take you seriously when you use that word.(Original post by badcheesecrispy)

Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.Personally I think its a very witty combining the of the words "liberal" and "retard" as if to imply that all liberals are in some way retarded.(Original post by thunder_chunky)

I feel we should seek out the person who invented such a genius combination so we may probably recognize his contribution to comedy.Last edited by Carecup; 02-06-2012 at 20:57. -
Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains. It's really ok, I think black people understand that their skin is actually brown. I also don't think you can blame minorities for the decision not to print these stories the overzealous media really does like to take offense on others behalf. Also this isn't one of those treasured race stories which the media love so much they call on their favorite black journalists to write about King, Parks et al.(Original post by badcheesecrispy)

Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.
Two of the comments on the Daily Mail article sum it up pretty well:
"It should be made a criminal offence to call someone racist unless one has clear proof."
"Pulling the race card whenever they get reprimanded for anything should be punished severely, it is usually done by the less intelligent" -
Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.
outrageous
Should rape victims who don't successfully have their assailant covicted get punished?(Original post by Skip_Snip)

Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.Well no, but in cases like that article, the nurses had no case at all and should have done their jobs(Original post by TheHansa)

Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.No. But those nurses shirked their duties and refused to acknowledge it by making a very serious accusation against a sick woman.(Original post by TheHansa)

Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.strike her off for incompetence punish her for almost causing a person's death, but she should not be punished for making the accusation even though it probably was nonsense.(Original post by Skip_Snip)
No. But those nurses shirked their duties and refused to acknowledge it by making a very serious accusation against a sick woman. -

Re: dangerously incompetent nursing staff play 'race card' after patient complains.I've seen it from both sides - where I've witnessed nurses (and doctors) accuse patients of being rude or aggressive in order to make up for their own shortcomings, and where I've heard from behind the curtain a patient speak appallingly (including racist) to a nurse and then act sweet as pie when the doctor shows up.(Original post by Skip_Snip)
No. But those nurses shirked their duties and refused to acknowledge it by making a very serious accusation against a sick woman.
An apology by managers does not even prove guilt - they will usually stick up for patients over staff when there is a he said she said debate.
but they'll still go with the race card
