What is your plan if you fail to gain entry to dental school?
Do you have any back up paths in mind? What are they?
Would you reapply with the hope of getting an offer the second time around?

Plan is to graduate and get a job (hopefully medically related) then gain more experience. I'm realistic in that this is my first application cycle and my work experience is not as strong as it could be.
I'm confident I could get strong work experience once I have finished university.

Firstly find somewhere to stay; rent a flat or something as I'm definitely going to get kicked out if I don't get into dental school.
Just hope I do or my mum becomes the more optimistic by then.

That's quite extreme of your Mother.
And aren't you only in year 10? It's not fair of her to put so much pressure on you at such a young age.
I hope she's happy with whatever you end up doing in the future, whether or not it is dentistry related.

I don't know what I'd do, I'm applying for graduate entry and have already done a degree. I really don't want to do anything else but there comes a point where you just have to take it on the chin and move on. I wouldn't know what I'd end up doing, maybe research or business? Who knows.

    Go med school...

If not, I'll just pursue my life long dream of setting up thestudentarea.co.uk, an alternative to thestudentroom.co.uk

Same here, I don't know what I'd do apart from that. And LOL my mum isn't that bad, she wants me to be a dentist but she would get pretty upset if I didn't become one. And she wouldn't literally do that, I was only exaggerating.
