Advice on a new laptop, what do you guys think?
Hi, I wanna buy a laptop for uni, oh and to also transfer my adobe software onto it (dunno if that would affect what sort of laptop I should get other than something with Windows on it, cuz it's the windows version of adobe) I have a budget of 500 quid and I'm not sure what to get. Any suggestions?

    Thank's guys

Are looking to do video or photo editing?
Because video editing would cost you a lot more, otherwise your laptop would be quite slow.
And I believe you can, as long as you got your serial codes for your software.

Try to push your budget a bit please.........because this is an amazing deal thats come up recently from Lenovo with the latest i7 with hyper threading which will make your editing a lot easier, comes with 320gb hard drive, but for £13.20 more you can get 500gb hard drive for under £540.

I'm saying cos of this Processor:
Intel Core i7-3612QM Processor (6MB Cache, 2.10GHz, up to 3.10GHz with Turbo

£500 can pretty much net you a machine with at least a 2.2GHz, 4GB RAM and a decent capacity HDD. Those ones the other guys posted look good.

Well the Lenovo with the i7 I suggested has gone up in price...you should wait till the new processors are out, as the current laptop prices will drop.

With photo editing and at your budget, it should be fine with an i5 and around 8gb of ram.

Best I can find, at £504.

In my experience, Toshiba is the best for cheap but reliable laptops
