I'm quite nervous! The questions are so much more difficult and there is a lot more English going on in it.
I'm not quite sure how to revise either! But yes, hopefully it will affect the grade boundaries because we are the first year to do it- which means they should be relatively low anyway.

Can anyone pleasee help me with this?

A rectangular container is 12 cm long, 11cm wide and 10cm high.
The container is filled with water to a depth of 8 cm

A metal sphere of radius 3.5cm is placed in the water. It sinks to the bottom.

Calculate the rise in the water level.
Give your answer correct to 3 significant figures.

it is 4 marks and I have nooo idea what to do :/

    No problem

    For the vectors question:
\vec{OA} is parallel to \vec{EF}. This means that \vec{EF} is the same as \vec{OA}, hence \vec{EF} is 6a

    Make sense?

oh and the specimen papers are usually a lot harder than the actual papers i think, to prepare us for it. Cos the mock papers seem easier!

I LOVE you right now! Thanks for these - I'll probably revise everything, do the past papers, mark them and then see where my weaknesses lie
