    Oh,I didn't expect that.Thats great,thanks!
Yeah, it's good man. Takes the pressure of the calculator paper. And my basis for saying that's an A* is; in the old spec 82 MAY have been an A* and anything above that definitely was an A*. Therefore, as this is a new spec, the GB are almost certainly going to drop. Therefore god exists. Therefore you have an A*

Okay so I think the maximum I could have gotten in this paper is 84 not including all the method marks so Im gonna aim for at least 86 in the calc which would make it 170/200. Would that be a deffo A*? or should I aim higher?
    170 is guaranteed A*

I havent got much time to explain - exam in just over an hour. But the first one you need to draw a line however many cm they ask (i think 2) away from the straight lines of the object. Then, for the curves, you need to open your compass out to 2cm (or whatever they ask) and draw an arc connecting the straight lines around the curves. Second question is simple. Use mass = density x volume and then minus the two.

    Hope that helped..

    lol...

How did you find the exam?

I didn't think it was too bad, I've calculated around the low 80's on the mark scheme thing, depends on whether my workings get the marks I think they will... really annoyed that on the cylinder question I got 3x but wrote square root 3x..no idea why!!!

where do you put the compass point on to draw the arcs, the 3 corners? The second one i think the mark scheme might be wrong cus thats what i put. Here it is - exam q2.docx. Cheers for the help.
