If you own a dog please click on this thread
Hey everyone
If you own a dog can you please help me out by clicking the link and doing this survey for me: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MXCNCFT
It should only take between 10 and 15 minutes, I am studying for a BSc in Animal studies at Moulton College and this survey is being done to collect data for my dissertation which is about owner-dog interactions.
All information will not be passed onto anyone else and will be used as a part of my dissertation only. Responses will remain anonymous and I will not receive any of your personal details, so I would appreciate it if you could answer as honestly as you can.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help me out

I don't know if you'll be asked to evaluate your questionnaire, but I thought you should know incase it helps:-
On the section 15: There is this statement "my dog is friendly to strangers". I am putting "usually" but you should note that my dog ignores strangers completely - there was no option for this in the multiple choice.
But as she is a nice dog, I'm putting "usually". It might be something to note down in an essay or whatever
Hope that helps at all.
Oh and also... "my dog pulls when on lead" - I've put "usually" again, but my dog is trained to pull so it is for working reasons - so that is something else that couldn't be explained in the questionnaire. Hope this info is useful

Re: If you own a dog please click on this threadI did it, although my dog died a couple of years ago now.
On Q8, it could have done with an option for 'don't know' - we only got him when he was 18 months old, and although he was fairly well trained, I don't know if it was the breeder or a professional who trained him. -

Re: If you own a dog please click on this threadWhat on earth is shooting a bullet through a church? Or letting a monkey out a sleeve? Or standing on your stripes?(Original post by Polly_89)

The Netherlands sound dangerous.
But the questionnaire is very simple; if it isn't English, it's Dutch. No-one seems to dare to finish to darned thing.

Re: If you own a dog please click on this threadI did! The person reading it had a nice voice, so that helped. I looked up the first two, and the monkey/sleeve thing made sense. The bullet in the church this is nonsense though, elephant in the room makes a lot more sense.(Original post by Polly_89)
