    Sport on a gap year
I am going to University to study a sport course, but I am going on a gap year before. I would like a career in sport (not playing it, but something that revolves around sport - at this stage I do not know exactly what sort of job in sport I would like).

I would like to make my gap year useful by doing something that involves sport. This would mean it would look good on my CV, help in the future etc. Anyway, I already do football and cricket coaching so I don't really know what I can do on my gap year that involves sport but it is not coaching (I can do that in England). I am travelling around South East Asia on my gap year by the way.

Something in sport that involves neither playing it yourself, nor teaching it. Not entirely sure you have a lot of options there tbh, other than coaching football / cricked in an SE Asian school / orphanage / something similarly worthy.

I'm going out to St Lucia in July with a company called caribbean coaching. There is obviously a coaching aspect to it, hence the name, but you can also play. Im going to do rugby coaching for a month and there is a 7 a side tournament about half way through my trip which is linked into the Carnival. The national St Lucia team will be playing and as im coaching them I also get the chance to play. Might be worth a look?
