No there isn't but the answer is:
It forces the price of houses up as commuters are wealthy so locals cant afford to buy homes.
Local services aren't used as commuters wil buy their goods from big supermarkets out of town and therefore local shops shut down adding to the multiplier effect.

Ok, thanks , I guess alot of this paper is just thinking , almost common sense as long as you throw in some key words like multiplier effect right?

No maths stats, Biology, chemistry and ... at the moment it looks like history.
    You?

And can anyone direct me to some case studies for aid, fair trade, and TNC. With some figures as I hear they are useful to include, ( although teach said I could make them up as long as they were realistic)

Maths, Physics, Economics and now History instead of Geography as it's soo boring!
    Aid - Mali
    fair trade - Mali
    TNC - Nokia

Your lucky you never did last years unit 1 exam it was unbelivably hard
I did last years paper, what was it about i cant quite remember, i just remember being really stuck on the case study...i made it up completely, i used information that i had learned about Ghana and adapted it to Kenya lol.

Sure I'm doing it too. So the matrix should be straight forward, put the information they give you and just expand a bit saying if it is sustainable or not. Then with the report/essay i will firstly just put out what i think is the best option so i don't lose track or waffle on because i tend to do that a lot Then i would say why i feel that option is more suitable (it is more sustainable/even though it has this problem it can be solved by...) then i would explain in detail why i wouldn't do the other options and then write a conclusion saying "to conclude i feel that option B is unsustainable, option C is too expensive and so option A is the most sustainable...thats just an example. I hope i have been some help

Can i just share a tip, the examiners will not know every single case study if you really get stuck make it up, as long as it makes sense and is believable, and that you use key words correctly they will buy it. It doesn't have to be an official case study as long as it explains what the question is asking. I did this last year in my unit 1 exam and despite me making up an entire case study i still got 60 out of them 1 and theme 2
