The points A and B have coordinates (1,1,-2) and (2,-3,0) respectively

A)Find in Vector Form an equation for L1 which passes through A and B

I Did this L1=(1,1,-2)+ U(1,-4,2)

The Line L2 passes through the origin and point C with Coordinates (7,-3,8)

B) Find a vector equation for L2
L2= T(7,-3,8)

c) show lines are skew
Not multiples of each other
Then worked out 3 equations found U and T from first 2 and then put their values into equation 3

d) find the shortest distance from c to L1

Would really appreciate it if you could help me on d i can do a, b and c but the answer im getting for d) is not the same as what the book says

Would be easier if you just posted a screenie of the paper.

But i think you find the length of the line which makes a right angle with L1 and that is the shortest distance.
