Hey yeah i wrote mine on this structure and im not going to lie it was about 5 pages typed up because i i went into a lot of detail i do need to make sure i condense it a bit for the exam i havent even done one of these essay timmed yet im going to do all of that next week and just revise over everything iv learned this week but yeah 45 mins sounds like a decent ammount of time to write a quick plan at the top & write a cracking essay

Nobody in my college got higher than a D in Unit 1 last year, because they thought it was a good idea to hire a solicitor with no teaching experience. If the exam was about incest we would've all got A's but it didn't work that way XD
Oh dear it annoyed me so much though cause i even got the paper back and it appeared to marked extremely harsh! Like one question i had done before i did the exam my teacher marked it gave me like 9/10 i think and the one i did in the exam was word for word and only got 6 or 7 marks! And the teacher i had actually marks pretty harshly!
According to my teacher though some of the markers of the law papers are pretty thick

Thank you for this I can post my law and morals essay for you if you like where I got an A? I can't remember the exact mark as I'd have to fish it out but that might help?

Also has anyone got either an essay plan or marked essay for law and justice?

I think the problem with law is there are so many examiners so you never know if you're gonna get a lenient or harsh one. I think I got a lenient one for Unit 2, as I didn't even answer a question on damages (it was a resit, so this year it was 8 marks) yet I still got 81/100 UMS which seems a bit odd to me lol.

Haha jeez i think i got a harsh one in jan again the question i thought i did the worst one was the one with the highest marks. Also think it was marked harshy cause there was so much you could write! I managed to answer every bit of the first two questions including every part of law included and could of possibly written in more detail in the time but they still got the lowest marks i was like WTF. I knew there were more points i could put on the last question but had forgotten and it was still the question with the highest mark.
Oh god just realised that was a bit of a rant, my apologies

Haha don't worry, I find the main problem with Unit 3/4 is the application part, they seem to want you to go really in depth and consider "what ifs" :/

Some bits are clear you can only do it if there's something nto actually discuss haha.
I don't usually mention the other side but i always explain the points of law and why it should fail or succeed and argue that point i just don't mention the other possible side. Like i'd mention this bit is not clear cut but i believe it will fail or succeed for this reason

How have you done in your other law exams if you don't mind me asking? I don't think I'm going to do so well in this one because it's two exams stuck together :/

Alright two As last yr and B in the summer basically need to just get a A in this last exam and i'll have one over all. Meant to be aiming for an A but tbh i don't care what i get as long as i get into uni haha Have to get a B but shouldn't be too much of a problem unless i majorly scuff up the paper. It's just the 35 essay that bothers me don't know how to learn it all!

I don't sorry, just copying out of the AQA book!
It's so mindnumbling dull, he didn't even have any powerpoints!

Yeah I was planning on aiming for an A but I need 85 UMS and I don't see it happening because of concepts. I said to my mate the other week that it'd be so much easier if they hadn't combined them :| I'll be happy with a B, that's all I need really but it'd be nice to get higher

Thank god. Still gonna go over it just incase.

What does everyone think they're gonna avoid?
Any question that has Product Liability as one of it's elements, I think I'm gonna steer clear.

You can use negligence instead of product liability though cant you? Im sure thats what the mark schemes say! Although they are shockingly awful mark schemes. :/

If i write just an essay for each bit, can i just write the same for whatever questions? Theyre pretty much the same arent they? Getting quite worried. :/

That's what I plan on doing -- there's too many sections for CPA!
