Re: Britain's greatest stand up Comedian?oh well in that case that means it ok then, my mistake, i didn't know before... i can totally forget about what i feel is right and wrong now, because there was some loophole that made it legal.(Original post by JohnC2211)
Again, his method of doing so was completely legal. -

Micky Flannagan. Although i don't get his humour at times.
Frankie Boyle is just anti-Islamic and shouldn't even be allowed to say what he does.. -
Re: Britain's greatest stand up Comedian?Did I say it wasn't?(Original post by JohnC2211)
The method of which was completely legal. We'd all do it if we could. -
Re: Britain's greatest stand up Comedian? Not if it's against Muslims, no.(Original post by DaveSmith99)
So you don't agree with freedom of speech then?
You think we should accept people trying to challenge Islam every 2 minutes and destroy it's reputation? Islam is unique, therefore to criticize what you're ignorant of is wrong in our eyes. -
Re: Britain's greatest stand up Comedian?Islam is, like anything else, not above criticism.(Original post by Zim_)

Re: Britain's greatest stand up Comedian?Maybe in your view. But these are our rules on our religion and you should respect how we wish to be treated.(Original post by DaveSmith99)

Re: Britain's greatest stand up Comedian?
For me, I currently really like Simon Amstell. My favourite top comic at the moment is probably Russell Howard or Dara O'Briain (for stand up, not mock the week/goood news/other watered down comedy show). As far as newer comics go, Jon Richardson comes a close second to Amstell for me. I watch way too much comedy...

Re: Britain's greatest stand up Comedian? And my view is the countries view on free speech, to take away a basic human right from everyone to appease a very small minority is absurd. But this is off topic, and we wont and shouldn't start banning people from expressing their opinion.(Original post by Zim_)
Maybe in your view. But these are our rules on our religion and you should respect how we wish to be treated.
I didn't realise he was that funny until I watched his 'What's the Story' documentaries on BBC. His jokes about travel and holidays cracked me up so much!
