Re: feeling really down:(
Keep at it, if you're exercising enough and eating the right food eventually the weight will start to come off. It takes a fair amount of dedication and time to lose weight but keep at it and you'll be rewarded.
It gets easier to keep going once you notice the first few pounds come off.

Re: feeling really down:(No! I was just trying to be helpful :O(Original post by sii217)
Is that a sly insult? -
Re: feeling really down:(
Find excuses to go walking and exercising. If you have a job/go to school walk there (unless it's like, 5 miles away). My school is about 3miles away and I still walk there, takes me 50 mins and leaves me tired afterwards but is also really good exercise. I see you're going to the gym so that's good

Above all, try not to care so much! Be happy with who you are. If you seem comfortable in your own skin then people will be comfortable in your presence. Trust me. -
Re: feeling really down:(
It's wrong of me to assume, but cutting out alcohol could be something to consider? I just guessed since you said 'night-out' it meant a night on the happy-sauce. I could be wrong.
When I want to drop weight I just jog a lot, alternating lengths so I don't tire myself out but enough so I can run around 5 times a week. I'd suggest running to everyone, it really makes you feel good when you finish a particularly tiring run because you get a big rush of good feelings. When I first started I was a really big guy (99% blubber) and I just went for long walks and jogged every 5 minutes or so. It's a swift learning curve, so you get better at it quite quickly. -
Re: feeling really down:(
You're going to think that, trust me because you are not visually seeing results, but that is no reason to feel down. You shouldnt give up because psychologically being affected will cause weight loss to occur slower as you as a person become more dull
I have a personal trainer, and he helped me tonnes. I used to be size 18, and now im a size 10.
Learn to love yourself, and dont hate it. You should always try to better yourself, instead of wallowing in self pity. It wont help you at all. Im not being mean, Im being helpful.
Just carry on with your exercise/diet lifestyle and you'll see the difference. But if your not happy see your local GP, or like me get a trainer.
My mum couldnt lose weight, and was on the brink of depression. She went to the GP who told her she had a fibroid which caused her heaviness. She had the operation for it 8weeks ago and no joke she's shedding the pounds now. If ever in doubt about anything to do with the body, seek medical help. -
Re: feeling really down:(Take pleasure in small things - enjoy exercising and laugh and smile a lot (even if you're faking it will become genuine and it makes you feel better) and SLEEP sleeping properly makes EVERYTHING better.(Original post by Anonymous)

some easy things that work for me to shed unwanted poundage are, making your portions smaller, cooking with cayane pepper (it speeds up your metabolism)and having an espresso at lunch
most of all accept that loosing weight in a way that will keep weight off will take time- In the mean ime try to learn to love you body a bit more. maybe try vintage styles that flatter fuller figures when you go out, let out your inner bodacious babe
