I looked at your post history and nearly all of them are regarding the Manchester debate in different threads.

    I don't go to Manchester.
He's pretty obsessed. I don't read his post because they can mostly be summed up as: 'You're wrong, everything you said is wrong because of xyz and this is why UoM is bad'.

He's teaching a 1st year physics module next year apparently (or at least part of one). If that's the case, I feel sorry for the physics students trying to get in to their own lecture.

    Firming Manchester then

Give me time I'm sure I'll get around to the rest of them.

Look who's talking. Your whole TSR life is dedicated to defending the impossible - the so called ' right ' of UoM to a reputation.

No I don't go to UoM. I have applied there but I haven't picked a university yet. Since I keep browsing UoM threads to help me decide, I come across your posts fairly often.

I'm just trying to understand why you are so dedicated to this. You 'bash' UoM in every thread and when someone disagrees, 'accuse' them of being from UoM and hurl insults towards them. Since university reputation is a relatively trivial matter (compared to war, politics and immigration), it seems odd for a person to get so worked up about it.

Seriously, get a hobby or something. Your labouring of the point doesn't really convince anyone especially those that already think it is a good university. I really struggle to see why you bother to tell people how bad you think Manchester is?

Heck, I'll be a second year History and Politics student by then and will still want to attend a lecture by him. Haha.

No Sorry, that's a gross exaggeration. In no way have I "bashed", "hurled insults" or " got so worked up about it ". Sorry that's just false.

Bottom line is: if it bothers you that much then don't read me. Does someone have a gun to your head ?

    LOL, another UoM grad incognito.

Seriously, you guys are too obvious and no matter what you say or do, it won't change the rankings. They are here to stay, complain to UoM, after all they are the ones causing your misery, if you don't have the guts for it, well then enough said .

Not an exaggeration. You seem bitter for some reason towards UoM and I'm just wondering why.

Your conspiracy theory would be terrific, if I was actually a UoM graduate. Manchester is my firm choice for September 2012. I don't dispute the fact that the NSS feedback suggests low student satisfaction amongst some students, I don't think it means that all teaching is rubbish and the university is terrible, at all.

I notice that whilst a number of people have asked you why you bother spending so much of your time devoted to slagging off Manchester, not one of us have been given an answer?

Grad / applicant same difference, you're all biased, you have to be - definitive.
I aim to expose all bad teaching and sub standard course contents, it's not just limited to UoM, I've just warmed up.

Not really relevant to this, I mean I could have attended anywhere and still made these comments.

I have until recently been attending a Uni similar to UoM. Why do you ask?

NO, you accused me of this and that - you back it up. One cannot prove a negative.

What gun ? It doesn't bother me and I'm certainly not going there, though that must be heartbreaking to you.
