    aqa english language controlled assessment
    i heard this year was the first year aqa started controlled assessments as opposed to coursework, so will this mean the grade boundaries are lower then last years for unit 3? last year it was 72/80 for a* in unit 3, and i really hope its lower!!

    Probably as unlike coursework, you can not keep changing the work to make the grade you want. If you don't get the grade you want, you have to start over.

    It also depends on how well the rest of the country does, so you cannot really tell the boundaries till its been moderated by the exam board.
