Re: Girls who shaveVery odd. When I was that age, we were happy that the girls hadn't discovered sports bras.(Original post by Lostfish)
...
When we did P.E with the boys we had to wear shorts all the time so the boys (who were all hairless at this point) took the piss out of me. Especially this one boy in particular and I had no confidence I hated P.E so much it was horrible. A few of the boys were worse than the girls :'(
But it's all cool now I just wax whenever I need to
The boys in your school were weird. -
Re: Girls who shaveThanks(Original post by annelidatome)
That is quite possibly one of the weirdest thins I have ever heard, but thanks for the info.
. I really like seeing hair on a girl's body. I just find it so sexy. I've never been in a relationship yet, so not 100% sure whether I prefer girls to be shaved down there or not, but assuming my views don't change I will find hair to be no problem at all
.
Will also give you rep when some becomes available

Re: Girls who shave
I didn't know girls could be so viscous about leg hair until my 12 year old sister came home and told me some girls were rude about the hair on her legs. I didn't even think much of leg hair until I got to 16 and I started to feel a bit paranoid about it when I saw my friends wearing shorts with no hair. My mum doesn't shave her legs because she has very little to no hair so she never really introduced us to it, in fact she doesn't want us to do it all. My sister gets pretty upset about it because she isn't allowed to remove it has now stopped swimming and stopped going to sports clubs. I have only shaved my legs once in my life and I epilate when I have the patience, but it is so long and tedious.

Re: Girls who shavesome of the views you have are kind of deluded. Very few men actually have the opinions on women which you seem to believe are true for all men, if it was the case then millions of people around the world would never have happy, loving relationships.(Original post by im so academic)
Really? I thought a woman had to be smooth all over in order to have sex with a man.
What would you do if you were interested in a woman, and as you were about to have sex, you saw she had hair down there?
I thought men would just be disgusted and just leave the "bitch" there. -
Re: Girls who shaveFrom how you present yourself on this site, and my past conversations with you - you never gave me any reason not to.(Original post by jismith1989)
Hah, how do you know I'm a decent guy? I could be a complete ****.
(Luckily, I'm not, however.)
If trimming is the minimum standard you expect, then that is perfectly reasonable. Having said that, someone like you has other expectations that girls like me cannot fulfil. And no, not really, I don't care about arms or legs, I'm not that insecure that I need a girl to look more feminine for me to feel masculine. I don't really care about "down there" either, but yes, it does help oral sex go a bit more smoothly if it's at least trimmed (and, tbf, it probably is a bit of a turn on to be able to see the genitals better) -- I'm sure that's the same for girls giving oral to guys though, and I've never bothered to shave down there, so I'd be a hypocrite if I expected anyone else to.
Thanks.EDIT: As for "downy": http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/downy

Re: Girls who shaveGetting girls? I'm a girl myself.(Original post by brendonbackflip)
Don't know why your so bothered about hair now, you're going to have a hard time getting girls to like you with a view like that. -
Re: Girls who shaveFeel unattractive? I am unattractive.(Original post by HolyFuzazzle)
Haha that's funny XDD
Seriously though some responses on this thread must make girls feel so damn unattractive.

To be honest, I prefer downy legs than stubble (which is what you inevitably get from shaving). We're apes, embrace it!

Re: Girls who shaveApologies! oops.(Original post by im so academic)
Getting girls? I'm a girl myself.
Still...don't put men on the pedestral. If some guy doesn't like something that happens in every woman naturally, he's a) superficial and b) probably doesn't like you enough to be in a relationship anyway. -
Re: Girls who shave
I've always been very hairy and people did use to say things at Primary school but they never really affected me, but when I went to secondary school I did start shaving my legs. It wasn't about looking sexy, just being socially acceptable. I still heard the odd comment about my arms because I don't shave those, but it doesn't really bother me.

Re: Girls who shaveYour perception of the world isn't necessarily what the world is actually like though. I used to feel like it, when the boys I knew would never be interested in me but then I realised they're a small portion of boys in the world full of a variety of people who care about much more than what you look like.(Original post by im so academic)
Really? It seems to be the case in my world. -
Just do it anyway without telling her, us teenagers are supposed to rebellll(Original post by annelidatome)
Why is shaving your legs such an important thing for girls? My step-mother won't let me shave because "you're only 14, you don't need to be trying to look sexy" but guys don't even notice. so why does it turn girls vicious, I get attacked all the time (wel, I wear jeans, so not 'all' the time) but why? -
Re: Girls who shaveBut it's a decent request, just like brushing your teeth, isn't it?(Original post by brendonbackflip)
Apologies! oops.

And the decent ones? Where do they fit in?(Original post by pink pineapple)

Re: Girls who shaveWell, for a start, I'm not looking for a jail/gaol sentence, so I suppose that'd be one stumbling block, but I'm pretty sure that you don't really know what expectations I have -- try to be positive, that's attractive in itself. Not all guys have the same expectations, and even the same guy doesn't carry the same set of rigid expectations throughout his life, and, in any case, you're not a piece of meat, so you shouldn't throw yourself on the first guy who offers you any attention. If things aren't going well on the relationship front, try to live up to your username and focus on academia or other sources of fulfilment/fun for now, and don't stress yourself out about it.(Original post by im so academic)

But do you have a photo of yourself? You seem to complain a lot about your looks, but I don't think you've ever shown anyone on here what you actually look like.
Also, I didn't say that trimming was the minimum standard I'd expect: I said that I don't mind how natural or not someone's crotch is, and don't expect anything, but that trimming has some advantages.

Re: Girls who shaveNo its not. Removing hair takes lots of time up, it can be painful depending what method you use, and it can cost a lot of money. Brushing your teeth is to do with hygene and general health, and shaving is not (shaven does not mean unclean; its just some girls, like myself, find it easier to manage hygene with less hair). And from some comments on the thread, its more to do with appearance, which is very stupid and shouldn't be expected of girls - the same how boys shouldn't change to get girls(Original post by im so academic)

I think, if you're not trolling, you just think you're unattractive. Do a wide and varied amount of people really tell you every day that you're ugly?(Original post by im so academic)
Feel unattractive? I am unattractive.

Re: Girls who shaveBut why shouldn't it be expected? Why should people have high standards of their partners? And isn't that what femininity/masculinity is all about? It's OK for a man to be natural, but not a woman.(Original post by brendonbackflip)

They don't have to tell me. I know they are thinking it.(Original post by HolyFuzazzle)

Re: Girls who shaveWhy do you think being hairless makes a partner high standard? It doesn't improve people's appearance that much, and does nothing on anyone's personality, sexuality or all the other bits men care about. And yeah, there's all this 'feminine' crap coming from the media and today's society, but it doesn't mean women should have to conform to it, and it's not fair to say they should be expected to do it - particularly when, as you say, it's OK for men to go natural. In reality, I doubt very many men would turn a girl down because she's got leg hair or whatever.(Original post by im so academic)
