Cheaper alternative to Samsung Galaxy S2?
I'm looking to get the galaxy S2, anyone know any other phones that have the same/better specs for a lower price. It will cost about £300 or £18.50 on a 24 month contract.

Why don't you just get the S2? The price is falling with the arrival of the S3..

Give it another week and if the iPhone 5 is released (Which isn't set in stone by any rate) at WWDC it will drop even further.

Best place to buy a sim free phone is Amazon, much cheaper than what 02/Orange etc. offer.

For pay monthly, take a look at Tesco's mobile site... some pretty decent deals on their for the S2, and other phones.

£340 on amazon , how much do you think it will drop to after iPhone 5 is released? I've just seen one on ebay go for £265 brand new in box, seller had 100% feedback.

Reckon it will drop to around £220 -£230 or will it hold its value?

I personally don't contemplate buying off other people.. especially at £265 which is very low. However if he has a good rating then I think that's a very good deal.

There's no chance the S2 will fall in price by more than a £100. In fact, I don't really see it falling that much at all... maybe £10 or, pushing it, £20 at the most.

So basically there's no need to wait for the iphone5 to come out - people buying the new iphone will want the brand name, and won't be thinking about the price. Therefore Samsung will know that reducing their price won't affect their competition with the iphone5 anyway.

I'd really suggest buying it now, or at least keeping an eye on the prices. If you don't want to buy from Amazon then yeah the deal you found on ebay is very good if it's legit

Edit - I've been looking at the S2 for a few months now and there was a price drop on Amazon recently too (95% sure) so chances of another one are low!
