    Re: Girls with fringes.
I love fringes on other people, but despise them on me. Maybe I'm just retarded at styling them, or don't get them cut exactly how I want them, but they just constantly annoy me. They always, always, always fall in my face. or turn out dodgy after blowdrying it, if I straighten it, it goes flat and it looks horrible, and I can never achieve the side-swept look. I'm currently growing a side one out. For some reason every time I manage to grow one out I convince myself that I'd love a new one. It's a vicious cycle.

I love fringes on some people though!

I go on and off with a full fringe. (random fact but if you google fringe for some reason a picture of mine comes up on the second page, makes me feel special )I'll usually grow it out for a little then cut it back because it's an annoying length. I managed to fully grow it out last year then 2 days before starting uni I cut it back in!

Both pictures are nice. But i personally find side fringes hard to maintain as you can't part your hair in different ways and they're a nightmare to grow out. I got a side fringe at 14, two years later when I cut it into a full it still hadn't grown out!

The hairstyle in the first pic is great, it's not actually a 'fringe', just layered with a bit extra cut in the front.
I absolutely hate the second hairstyle, but I'm not into that 'look' whatsoever though...

I think you're best off going for the first one, get it layered all over if your hair is not so thick to ad volume, and a bit extra cut in the front to add a frame to your face (depending on your face shape though, I don't know what suits your face).

I've got curly hair with an oily type so a fringe isn't the best option for me :P but I have one because I look better with one. Its a side parting. I am thinking of getting a winge so I can clip it in and not have to worry about straightening and washing it all the time

I have/had a fringe like this. But it's a real pain in the arse because it grows really fast and in a few weeks it'll be right in my eyes and seriously annoying me

So the last time I got it cut (last week) I asked for a bit more off than usual, and now it looks horrendous. I can't win.

i hate fringes because unless you go to keep getting them cut they look crap most of the time after 2 weeks after having it cut... i just grew mine out... much easier for a lazy person who hates going to the hairdressers and their extortionate prices.
