What is the starting salary for working in Retail Banking sector and how is the salary/career progression in terms of years to next stage etc?

I'm assuming it's much less competitive than investment banking and by not going to Oxbridge or other top universities it isnt too much of a disadvantage?

Stupid comment? Doesn't even make sense.

OP - I think they range between 25-35k roughly.

If you go somewhere like PWM, then the salary has the potential to escalate greatly, not aware of starting salaries though, sorry. Google?

Not even close to true? Off the top of my head, a friend of mine is joining the Barclay's programme at 35k.
