Could I teach chemistry with a degree in Medicinal Chemistry?
I'm not sure if this is the right place but basically for a future career choice I want teaching open to me, and I was wondering if I could still teach chemistry with a medicinal chemistry degree and whether or not it would disadvantage me against other job applicants?
I mainly find that the course looks more interesting and other job prospects are more interesting aswell to me.
Thank You. -

I think so?
My Chemistry teacher was a nursing graduate who, after one week, decided that wasn't for her. Although, my High School didn't offer A-level Chemistry, just Double Award GCSE...
However, I don't think that would stop you? I'm sure you're just as qualified, if not more. -

What level of teaching? Anything up to A-Level will be completely fine with any chemistry based degree. They'll all cover the basics at a level far past the standards of A-levels, so you'll be fine!
Lecturing at university would be completely possible too, but obviously only in the areas that you've studied, but I'm guessing you're not meaning at university?
