How do you know though???? Doesn't it depend on the paper ???

It may be rough estimates...Like an average. Btw is this for higher only?

anti-biotics,growing micro-organisms,inheritance,carboncycle,genes,cloning,mutation and evoution and natural selection...

yeah quite alot..I'm trying to get as much done.

Am I kind off on track ?? I have revised Variations, reproduction and new technology, evolution, medicine and drugs and diet and exercise.

I still got Adaptation for Survival, Energy in Biomass and Coordination and Control !!!!

Is that ok ?? You're doing new spec right ?

That's fine, they're pretty easy topics..Sorta. I find the reflex ones(Co-ordination and control) difficult just takes a while

why is drug taking by athletes unethical anyone know ?????

......isn't it obvious: because it's cheating, giving yourself an artificial advantage in a natural sport.

yh it is, but is that what you would put down as an ethical reason ?

That's odd...I never knew that .
Okay..I'm totally worried about this now.. on my biology specimen paper I got
38/60 which is 63%
The biology Thursday 12 Jan 2012 I got
41/60 which is 68%

I don't know how these test papers work, but do they always get harder each year? and what is more likely going to be on the test?

By good continuous prose the exam board just mean start a sentence with a capital letter and spell key terms correctly. Don't worry about including fancy punctuation but do include good connectives: furthermore, consequently etc.

There are two types of questions. One with the continous pros and the other one where you evaluate. The continuous prose one is simply describing in detail using specialist key words. And then the evaluate question is the one you give pros and cons from the text.
I think it's like that.

Don't worry, just revise everything. Read through all your notes and mark scheme answers and past papers and your spec.

You can never tell what's gonna come up, the examiner's sometimes can be mean and make the paper harder and sometimes feel nice. Also the grade boundaries depend on how difficult the paper is and how students do on it.

If the grade boundaries are very high, then hardly anyone would get an A*, so it would be reasonably high but not incredibly high, if you know what I mean.

Just keep your hopes up and keep revising.

By the way I think you got As because on the spec paper, 38/60 was an A. 41/60 is also an A. So your doing really well.
This is a very useful webiste with informative videos with diagrams and stuff.

yeh it does, im just guessing that theyll be higher than the January ones. and taking steroids is ethical since other athletes have spent ages building up their muscle and strength and you are taking drugs to do it. That is unfair and gives you an unfair advantage.

Why are you negging me? Stop being arrogant and listen: it is morally (ethically) against the spirit of sport as it is unfair that people gain an advantage through taking drugs and not only through training.

Also athletes may not be fully informed about the risks they take when taking these drugs.

There are 2 ethical reasons.
