Oh.. people are saying its 2x-1,, i spent like 10 minutes trying to re-arrange but i couldnt even do that.. :/
the rest were easy though..

Yeah, i think that question was the hardest

So that is two marks I think I got. I'm confident I got the adding fractions correct too. I got 31/40. The 0.25 as a fraction is 23/90 isn't it?

its really annoying because i worked it out wrong but i knew how to do it, i just wrote down the wrong sign.

2y+x=5 through the point (3,7)

2y+x=5 (divide by 2)
y+x/2 = 2.5 (-x/2)
y=-x/2 +2.5

m X m perpendicular = -1
-0.5 X m perpendicular = -1 (divide by -0.5)
m perpendicular = 2

y=2x+c
7=2X3+c
7=6+c (-6)
1=c

answer: y=2x+1

Aah thanks very much, isorta get it now :biggrin:

I put 25/99, my maths teacher said that it was just 1/4 though.

Thanks. I'm really frustrated in how it went. I'm hoping for a C and then retake in November.

x^2+16

it was x^-16 ... (x+4)(x-4)

What score do you guys think is needed to get a C? 22 was the score in the March exam

Yes i got that

Fraction adding was 31/40, recurring decimal was 23/90. x^2+16 = (x-4)(x+4)

I got all those! I think the recurring decimal was 2 marks, not too sure on the other two

Reccuring decimal was 3 marks :smile: adding fraction was 2 and factorising was 1 or 2, not sure
