I'm 21 - Planning to do level 3 BTEC in IT only for 1 year! than University possible?

I'm 21 - Planning to do level 3 BTEC in IT only for 1 year! than University possible?Well... I am 21 and failed a Access course and now i am looking for a way to hit Computer Science.
I only want to do 1 year BTEC national because i need to get off living on the streets and prove that i can do something with myself - By the time i'm 22 i need to be University..It is all or nothing. -

There are lots of computing jobs out there that don't necessarily need degrees, just the know how, and then you could work your way up from there.

If i complete one year of the BTEC National Diploma would i still get enough qualifications to actually go to University? -

I know i don't want to go to university when i'm 18 i will do it when i'm 16!
There is no easy way of going to university you can't just skip years because it doesn't 'sound' good. If you want to skip years go to London Met!

Re: I'm 21 - Planning to do level 3 BTEC in IT only for 1 year! than University possiYou can do a 90 credit diploma which lasts a year and the maximum amount of ucas points you can get with it is 210 which isnt bad if you want to get in e.g. London South Bank university (which only requires like 180 ucas points).
There is no easy way of going to university you can't just skip years because it doesn't 'sound' good. If you want to skip years go to London Met!
