The effect of excess alkali on this molecule?
Hi, I've attached the diagram of the before addition of excess alkali and after (after is below the black line)

I was wondering how do you know the alkali would only affect the OH and SO3H here?

Why does it have no effect on NH2?

-SO3H groups are very acidic (think about H2SO3), similarly phenolic OHs are also acidic

NH2 is a basic functionality and won't be effected
