    Open days at UoL
I've been to one Open day and one Post-applicant open day at Liverpool and I didn't fail to notice how many students are around campus to help out on the day. I've heard that students get paid for helping out on Open days. Is this true, current students?? Also, what opportunities are there for working on campus, ie. library, Subway etc..?

    Re: Open days at UoL
Hi, I'm currently a student there, and have helped out on a number of open days this year with the English department on a casual basis. Also, in first year, I helped out as a halls tour guide around my halls. Yes, they do pay £7, so it's very fair, though my payment for the last set of open days has been delayed :/ I know they also recruit Student Ambassadors, they seem to get more hours doing campus tours on a weekly basis to fit around their studies, but I don't know so much about applying for that. Campus jobs - you can work in the student union, not sure about the other places. Hope this helps
