Wigan is awful. I went to college in one of the more affluent areas of Wigan, and it was still bad! -
Re: If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?The night life is pretty amazing if you like that sort of thing, there's plenty to do and see if you live actually in the City Centre or close by it!(Original post by Giggy88)

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? For me it'd be Washington Mukilteo, Hawaii Oaho or California.
If you could live anywhere in the UK, where would it be? For me it'd be either Kensington London or Cornwall.

Abroad - Iceland, the Channel Islands (if they count as abroad), Tasmania, Coastal Norway, Alaska, New Zealand, or the Northwestern corner of the USA (i.e between Wyoming and Washington state).
Here - The Isles of Scilly, Cornwall, Western Scotland (bar Glasgow), or Northern Scotland.Last edited by No Man; 08-06-2012 at 14:58. -

Iceland - right next to a hot spring and as far away from other people as possible. I could convert geothermal energy into electricity, use that to power artificial UV lighting to grow my own food, and thus be completely self-sufficient.

Definitely Thailand - it has all the food in the world - both cheap and luxurious - amazingly friendly people - very affordable.
Once again - gotta highlight the super affordable food - bcos i really enjoy traveling and eating.
And lately - i've been following plenty of blogs/forums - one i highly suggest for food&travel is "like like you mean it" by Chang Beer - you can find it in facebook - bcos it's a fanpage . -

1) Greenpoint in Brooklyn: Its a lovely developing area with cheap places to eat and drink, but still only a 5 minute subway ride to Manhattan and 10 minutes to times square.
2) Whitby / Some other town in North Yorkshire. I just love the scenery and atmosphere of North Yorkshire and could hapily live my life up there with a pet dog and a keyboard (Sets off into fantasy mode again)
