    Southampton University Summer School-Medicine
This is the first I have heard of this which is being held at the Southampton General Hospital. It aims to widen access to medicine for 6th formers.
    From the website it reads

"The programme of information and activities aims to give students an insight into the role of doctors and the training they undergo. This will include: talking to doctors and medical students, exploring a case history, practising medical skills, receiving information on the medical curriculum and advice on the applications process."

    Has anyone been to this?

    Experiences?

There are however eligibility criteria and so forth:

The application deadline has already passed.

Doubt it would prepare you for being a medical student or doctor. Then again it's free.
