    Hygiene Hypothesis for Extended Project
    Hi
I am starting the extended project this summer and was trying to come up with a topic.
I am currently studying biology, chemistry, maths and physics and would like to do pharmacy at uni.
I am thinking about autoimmune diseases and saw an article about how autoimmune diseases are effected by hygiene (a.k.a the hygiene hypotheis).
I wondered if anyone could explain this to me in more detail as I wanted to make sure I could actually write 5000 words on it!!!!
    Thanks in advance

you need to do some proper research starting with an immunology textbook (which will have ~1 page on it) then going onto 'review' and 'current opinion' style literature to see what others think then at your level you can probably be justified on forming your own opinion based on that/.
