Theres four sections in the book... so my teacher just said learn any 5 facts like for women: they earnt 50/60% of the wage as a man doing the same job ectLast edited by sophiekutie; 11-06-2012 at 17:13. -

I think I do a yes paragraph and a no paragraph, with examples and explanations, I put each source on at least one side (both if it fits) and then put the judgement in the conclusion. I tend to put the own knowledge wherever it's convenient, sometimes in the conclusion if I've missed it out! Oh and the provenance usually goes in the introduction or as I begin to talk about each source
What sort of timings do you use for each question?

I do Q1: 3 minutes- 2 short inferences gets you 6 marks
Q2: 10 mins
Q3: 10 mins
Q4: 10 mins
Q5: 30 mins
and 10 minutes to prep the sources before i start.... i never do finnish the paper though ;( -

John Wright who writes the Edexcel History papers and the textbooks for all the units came in to our school one time and gave us this booklet which tells you how to write the questions.
According to him the timings should be:
Q1: 8 minutes
Q2: 12 minutes
Q3: 15 minutes
Q4: 15 minutes
Q5: 25 minutes
CGP are super!
