Fancy a Schumacher win here, if his car doesn't let him down again. He's on a high after pole in Monaco and that'll certainly give him confidence for the next few races - Schumacher won 7 times at Montréal. Would also love to see a Lotus win, preferably Kimi, but it seems like Grosjean might have the edge.

Re: 2012 F1 Canadian Grand Prix- Round 7!What's even more annoying is that when the deal was announced last summer he was saying how great it would be for the BBC to be able to put on highlights at dinner time on a sunday, now he's saying no one wants to watch non-live coverage.(Original post by Maynia)
People don't want to watch non-live coverage?
He is trying to manipulate it so Sky get exclusive rights in the UK.

That or the entire Wall of Champions collapses on him on the last lap. :s(Original post by Like_A_G6)

FFS Jonathan Legard's doing radio commentary for BBC Radio 5 Live
I thought they gave him the boot!
I prefer him to James Allen

Re: 2012 F1 Canadian Grand Prix- Round 7!
Hammy's looking very handy so far, will be interesting to see how tomorrow pans out but he's gotta be favourite heading into Saturday.
The Lotuses seem to be performing below expectations, it is a very close field though and it's good to see the likes of Massa and the Force Indias very much in the running. -

Solid lap by Vettel, but felt that Alonso did have a couple of tenths in him in the final run. I think he made a mistake coming into the chicane or the hairpin. Nevertheless, great improvement from Ferrari in terms of qualifying pace, and things are looking promising.

Re: 2012 F1 Canadian Grand Prix- Round 7!
Really quick lap from Vettel, I think he will run away with it tomorrow as per usual when he starts from pole.
Ferrari have really developed into a quick car, although imo Alonso was a bit too careful on his last lap particularly the last chicane it was too steady.
Once again, Schumacher has the most unusual bad luck. Had to abort his lap due to passing the line after the time limit even though he says the lights were green.
Anyway should be a good race tomorrow! -

Another race, another cock-up by Mercedes and more bad luck:

The look on his face says it all: big fat disappointment. -
Re: 2012 F1 Canadian Grand Prix- Round 7!
Ferrari have made great strides.
Any how Vettel runs away with a good start, I might just turn off my TV set.
It would have been better if alonso was 2nd because on average his starts are better than hamilton's, hence preventing seb from escaping the DRS activation zone after lap 2. -
Re: 2012 F1 Canadian Grand Prix- Round 7!I also had a funny feeling during pre season that McLaren had almost reached the absolute potential with that car. It literally has the same front wing (the elements and planes) as the 2011 car. The only major difference is the sidepods and other details.(Original post by Stringer987)
Didnt i say in pre season the Ferrari is the car with most potential to be unlocked?
I thought they gave him the boot!
