Re: Ban dogs on public transport?
I don't mind usually but don't like it if they're not kept under control properly. The other day there was this guy on the train with a bull terrier/ staffy type thing. He didn't have it on a lead & was just letting it wander loose. It made me a bit nervous when it came anywhere near me.

Re: Ban dogs on public transport?
I don't mind when the bus is quiet, but they only get on when its like a cattle train and then they end up in the gangway blocking your route when you try and get off. Takes the schmeichel trying not to stand on them + plus you don't know how friendly they are and if your allergic even more gutted.

Re: Ban dogs on public transport? That makes more of a case for stupid people being banned from buses rather than dogs.(Original post by itsmehello)
A dog came on to the bus a few years ago and a boy from my school was allergic and he went crazy running away from the dog on a packed bus. Was quite horrific to watch him pushing elderly people out of the way -
Re: Ban dogs on public transport?
No they should not, so long as the owner has paid for a valid ticket to cover the space the animal is occupying I have no problems with it. Not everyone has their own car so if they need to take their pet across town to visit the vets getting on the bus may be their only option. I'd rather they ban gobby oiks who at the back listening to loud music and abusing their fellow passengers.
