Personally, no. I agree that they should be asked to leave if they are misbehaving/causing a disruption, but generally, most seem well behaved. Making them go in separate cars is only contributing more to the greenhouse effect!

I don't mind usually but don't like it if they're not kept under control properly. The other day there was this guy on the train with a bull terrier/ staffy type thing. He didn't have it on a lead & was just letting it wander loose. It made me a bit nervous when it came anywhere near me.

Same as above, if the owner has control of it I don't really mind. Not everyone has the priviledge of a car!

My dog can no longer walk to the vet (she's old and has bad hips/legs) and my dad has to drive us, so if he wasn't about I'd have to bus with her. But she'd probably fall asleep tbh.

I don't mind when the bus is quiet, but they only get on when its like a cattle train and then they end up in the gangway blocking your route when you try and get off. Takes the schmeichel trying not to stand on them + plus you don't know how friendly they are and if your allergic even more gutted.

No. I've only ever seen guide dogs on the buses I get anyway.

maybe make them sit on the floor, don't like sitting on seats that have had dogs bum holes touching the cloth.

I'm surprised health and safety hasn't banned them. incase people are allergic, or they attack/trip up someone, or poo/wee.

A dog came on to the bus a few years ago and a boy from my school was allergic and he went crazy running away from the dog on a packed bus. Was quite horrific to watch him pushing elderly people out of the way
That makes more of a case for stupid people being banned from buses rather than dogs.

I'd rather ban the mobile phone, music playing working class rather than dogs.

No, most of the time the people behave worse than the dogs.

No they should not, so long as the owner has paid for a valid ticket to cover the space the animal is occupying I have no problems with it. Not everyone has their own car so if they need to take their pet across town to visit the vets getting on the bus may be their only option. I'd rather they ban gobby oiks who at the back listening to loud music and abusing their fellow passengers.

I take my Eddie on the bus. I don't worry about him, just stupid kids and their parents.

I have never seen a dog, or any other type of animal (although with the behaviour of some people...) on a bus or other public transport.

As long as they aren't being really loud or generally being a nuisance to passengers I wouldn't care.

As long as the owners are responsible, they are kept on a lead and are fully trained, I see no problem with it.
