Re: Do you think I'm fat? (pics includedthis is the most ridiculous thing I've heard this year! congratulationss(Original post by BobbyBurke)
Hmm...
Well I'm a 5"11 ft 17 year old male who weighs 8 stone and to be honest, I'm really happy with my body, not fat at all and my stomach region looks pretty ripped.
Yes, you are at a suitable size and BMI for your age as well as height which means that you are in the healthy category however, you will look chubby unless you work out abit to tone up your belly and burn some fat using cardio.
But in all honesty, you are at a healthy weight and lucky for you, you can easily turn that weight into muscle which is what I cannot do. My metabolism is literally so fast that I can't gain new muscle simply because I can't gain weight due to quick digestion and food burning of quickly :l

thats not healthy man -
Re: Do you think I'm fat? (pics includedholy **** dude. I bet you are weak as ****. Thats's not a healthy bodyweight. Your BMI must be around 15, whereas 'underweight' starts at around 18.5 or even 20 on some scales.(Original post by BobbyBurke)

Oh, I misread the title and thought it said "Do you think I'm flat?" (pics included). I was hoping there'd be some girl posting a picture of her boobs. I'm such a perve.

Spoiler:ShowI can't tell you how disappointed I was reading the OP and finding out it was a fat male.

firstly, you don't seem to be bad.
if you are sensitive about it, then i'm sure switching to protiens and doing weights will fix it. its not so much about weight loss, but a bit of toning.
also, you're sitting - every one's stomach sticks out a bit when they sit down.
I wouldn't say you look unhealthy, but just make sure you get the right nutrients and eat the right food for your metabolism. that last bit may sound a bit wierd, but i'm insulin resistant, and have rather slow metabolism, so i must alter my diet to accomodate this. Some people also have faster metabolism.
exercise is supposed to speed up your metabolim, and if you start an exercise regime, insure you are getting the right nutrients. If you are unsure, there is nothing wrong with consulting your doctor. -

I'm male (obviously), 18, 5'9" and just under 11 and a half stone. Although my BMI is healthy, I can't help but think how chubby I am. What do you think?

You don't look fat, you look a healthy weight, and you've said your BMI is healthy. I do think you don't look toned though...it's possible to not be fat but have too much body fat as a percentage of our body weight...maybe you could eat as you do now, but add more protein and start doing some weights? I don't think you really need to though you look fine and I think I'm only saying about the fat percentage cos you're kinda emphasising it in the pics, your sitting down which is not a flattering position for anyone topless anyway then your squeezing your stomach to emphasise any rolls and trying to create man cleavage?
I'm sure if you just stood in front of the camera you'd look very different.
