Re: How long do you revise for?Myself included, I intended to revise about 5 hours each day as my exams start next week, yet I find myself doing 2-3 hours if I'm lucky(Original post by Plums&Peaches)
Most definitely. I thought i would revise like crazy but in this exam period I'm not working much

Re: How long do you revise for?I thought I would revise loads but I think because I have been working quite hard leading up to them I just can't do much :s I have 4 exams in the next 2 weeks but I have 3 day gaps in between them. I haven't revised at all. But please tell me thats okay(Original post by Perseverance)

Re: How long do you revise for?Me too. I'd become depressed.(Original post by Tateco)
How any one can need (or cope with!) to revise for 14 hours a day is beyond me. -
Re: How long do you revise for? That's why i don't even do a tenth of that(Original post by Tateco)

Me too. I'd become depressed.
but it's also just completely unnecessary?!
I try to but I just doesn't happen. I've worked hard enough in the last 3 exam seasons to be able to breathe a little is time

Re: How long do you revise for?Wow fair enough, I didn't realise you have 10 exams, I assume some are AS?(Original post by LGrosvenor101)
I know I probably don't, but its just how I work. :L I panic a bit if I don't know that I've revised as much as I can - especially as I already have had 4 exams, and still have another 6 to go! :/ -
Re: How long do you revise for? That should be fine, you're in a similar position to me (minus the fact I haven't been working too hard leading up to my exams). Many people work better (or at least harder!) under pressure anyway(Original post by Plums&Peaches)

Re: How long do you revise for?Yeah, well I had 3 AS exams, all maths for my AS Further Maths, and Core 1 retake, the rest are A2s(Original post by Perseverance)

Re: How long do you revise for?I don't think you can estimate this. Sometimes if I'm studying something I find really interesting I'll remember 75% of it regardless of how long (to a limit), other times when I'm not intrigued the slightest I'll remember maybe 10% of it. Time isn't as such a limiting factor for everyone.(Original post by Monzystar)
about 10-20 min of revision and have plenty of breaks. if you revise like for an hour, you'd only remember about 10-25% of the work you revised

Re: How long do you revise for?
Another question regarding revision, sorry for spamming! How do you focus yourself for a revision session? What room do you revise in, how do you eliminate distractions etc?
I use my laptop almost as a textbook by looks at revision sites etc, which is a problem sometimes as i find myself sometimes starting to type "facebo...."

Re: How long do you revise for?I keep my laptop switched off in another room(Original post by Moontoon)
