Re: Whats the most cash youve ever physically held in your hand?£2000, £1000 in each hand. I was seven/eight at the time, back in 1999, thought I'd never ever see that much money again. My dad then spent it on car repairs and a new computer.

£12K I had to pay some school fees and I felt amazing when counting it. I'd never seen so many crisp £50 notes in my life.
Also, my parent's once put like 5 grand in my school bag (don't know why) the night before and I went to school not knowing anything about it until my parents collected me from school after 1st period, in year 8. I felt so cool knowing I'd been carrying that much around lool. -

Something over £5000. My dad tried teaching me how to count money. I failed miserably.

The weirdest thing was that it got my dad and I to interact. We converse three times a week (if that!) because he's always at work so that one day when I was in one of his businesses, he randomly came to me with a bag full of money and told me to count it.
