we can do this guys, just remember P.E.E, try and get some context, and if your struggling to find something then just try and think where abouts it links in with other points in the novel!
    PEE?
Ours is PQTA: point, quote, term, analysis.

our teacher said he wasn't going to give us any specific texts as the exam board dont like repetition, they like originality. basically anything that you can make a good, focused point on relating to the question will award you marks, fiction and non fiction. just don't use plots of films, you won't be marked for that.
also guys, remember that you have 15 minutes planning and an hour to write each essay. its pleanty of time, quality not quantity. the WH exemplar answer that got like 36/40 was only just over a side of a4 long.
i need 60/80 for an A, i already have a B but i need an A for uni. Its not going ot happen, i just hope my uni are nice to me on results day.

    Wut?
Your teacher hasn't given you ANY alternative texts? :s
No :/ she was just like "Yeah that's up to you...don't forget, you can refer to any books you've studied at A2 or AS, do use those"

So I guess that's what I'm doing?! Referring to Streetcar and Othello...and In Cold Blood and True History of the Kelly Gang... I guess.

How did everyone find it? Section A was great, easiest poem ever! All the texts were easy to understand and analyze and compare. I was really happy with the Section B questions too, I picked Marriage because for my coursework I compared the themes of marriage in Much Ado About Nothing with Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, so I compared it in Wuthering Heights with Much Ado About Nothing (and one bit compared to Twilight for teh lulz).

Exam wasn't too bad tbh, I just wish that I'd have revised instead of settling for a C/B grade now, as I know that I could have done SO much better!

Yeah I agree with you that it wasn't too bad even though the context was pretty vague for section A. Ran out of time towards the end but apart from that was all okay. Hope everyone found it all right.
