The clues in the title, even though i followed all instructions to get signatures to display i have never been able to get them to work.

and now since fiddling with the customising settings to display more quotes i cannot get the other things (activity/updates) in the sidebar to display.

Help me I've broken TSR!

The option to display signatures is in your user options http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/prof...do=editoptions
You need to make sure the box is checked to display signatures, and also if you want them to be permanently visible that the folding option is set to 'no'.

For the widget, it could either just be that the sidebar is hidden in which case you need to click 'show widgets' just under the search box. Alternatively you may need to re-check the widgets you wish to display in 'Customise your TSR' http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/prof...stomiseyourtsr. However, make sure you are on the 'customise other pages' tab halfway down, not the 'customise my homepage' tab which is the default.
