If 4 sin x + 3 cos x can be written in the form R sin (x + α)

how would you write 4sin + 3 cos in the same form?

Let x=2θ x = 2 \theta

4sin2θ+3cos2θ=Rsin(2θ+α) 4 \sin 2 \theta +3 \cos 2 \theta = R \sin( 2 \theta + \alpha )
