Re: If you could write a letter to your 13 year old self
Hmmm...
Hello 13 year old me. Braces aren't that bad so don't complain - they'll be off in a few months. You might think you're the ugliest person on the planet. Doesn't everyone at that age? But you're not, you're just shy and insecure and want to follow the rules compared to some of your close friends who have already started putting out and thinking they're "hard" through pulling fire alarms. Your history teacher may seem like a posh eccentric weirdo now, but you'll get used to her eventually. Oh and the prospect of SATs might feel like the biggest pressure you'll have on you at the moment. Wait until you get to GCSEs. And don't get me started on A Levels... -
Re: If you could write a letter to your 13 year old self
-You shouldn't care what people think about you. You're the one who will have the brighter future.
-Embrace the remaining time you have left with your friends. You're going to miss them like crazy.
-Don't be scared to be different. Not being a sheep will be the best decision you make.
-Don't get your belly button pierced, ffs.
-Don't leave somebody because people say you can do better, you're thirteen ffs.
-Take triple science instead of ict, don't be brainwashed by how important they say ict is, it's really not. -
Re: If you could write a letter to your 13 year old self
1. Have faith in yourself - you're doing fine. You'll be fine. I know you're insecure and you still will be in a few years time, but you have no idea how much your life is going to change and improve. Just keep going.
2. Have a little more compassion for those around you. Try to see their point of view. I know you don't see it yet but they're looking out for you, not acting against you.
3. He's not worth it. You're 13. Don't be embarrassed by the things you said but know that he's not important and he's not worth getting this upset over.
4. Shock horror, it really is just a phase. A few years down the line you'll look back and wonder why you ever thought that looked good, but don't worry about it, it's all part of the learning process.
5. Just enjoy it! You're only 13 once. -

Re: If you could write a letter to your 13 year old self
- Calm down in high school, don't get too big headed
- Don't get feelings for J, she's a teaser
- Stop being a cell out, don't from group to group often, be close with D and L, you'll regret it
- Don't waste all the money you make on worthless objects
- Revise with your GCSE, regret it in college!
- Calm down on marijuana, don't have to do it everytime you chill with friends!
- Don't be late everyday for college, you get behind in work overtime!
- Have a talk with DP, there is something really troubling behind his life
- Keep going gym, the more you maintain going the faster the result will show!!
- Don't be jealous of J, cause he's 18 and his life has improved, he is still a close friend
- Just because you turn 18 the youngest, doesn't mean you missed all the fun!
- Save money when you get a job, so you can go on a lads holiday
- Forget about H, she just brings you down forget her, stop seeing her!
- Focus while your in college your there to learn not mess around!
Oh and delete your piczo before people find out about it, was a great idea back then but, it will come back to haunt you - your future self -
1. You will get through your Standard Grades. You can do it!
2. Don't talk to D or J at all. They'll try and lead you into bad things, and you'll regret it (but well done for getting out of the situation anyway!)
3. Try and concentrate in class more so you have to do less revision at home.
4. Don't post things on Facebook which you will later cringe at..
5. Stay away from S as you don't really know him

Dear you:
Those moments, they're the best in your life so far. You don't think that they'll ever end, but they will, so make the most of them. Your future self when thinking what to write her will cry whilst thinking of those few months that you're about to live through they're that amazing. You will feel strong and confident and have so many wonderful memories. Make the most of them. Enjoy them.
Then its all going to go tits up. You'll feel lonely and scared. And really really low. It's not worth it. Just know things do get better
Also that incident with A, it will all be ok, I promise.
Despite what you fear, you will keep in touch with S when she moves.
Also make the most of this time with your family. Believe it or not they're going to have a baby in a year or two and you'll love her very much but they won't have time for you anymore.
Also don't listen to the idiots. They're horrible people who everyone hates. When you're older you'll know that nearly everyone hated these pricks. You'd rather be considered wierd behind your back than hated behind your back. Don't let them get to you.
Don't waste half your life on Facebook
Don't let your eating habits and weight escalate. Right now is where it all starts and you'll regret it later
Basically you're doing just fine and everything will be ok. You keep telling yourself that things will change when you're older; that by the time you hit 6th year you'll care about these things, you'll dress nicely and do your hair all fancy etc. You won't. But that's ok, your not a feminine person and that's fine.
There's some exciting stuff on your horizon, don't be scared of the future. You might not think so but you're a great person doing a great job. Just enjoy those few months and when the **** hits the fan, stay strong and get through it.
Love,
Your 17-yo self -
Re: If you could write a letter to your 13 year old self
Don't worry about making a fool of your self in front the new Scottish guy in your English class that you have a crush on, he's an arse and you'll completely forget him by the time you come back from Egypt.
Do not wear fake tan.
Don't tell G any of your secrets. In fact, don't bother with that because it won't happen if you don't talk to/get a crush on DL.
Be more confident and stop caring what others think of you. Shy doesn't suit you. -
Somebody won the lottery?(Original post by The Puppet Master)
It's okay to cry, you miss him and you'll still miss him in 6years, that's okay.
Tell someone how you're feeling, you're not pathetic, they'll understand.
Having a boyfriend doesn't make you straight...
Don't run away because you're scared, you ruin something potentially amazing.
In 4 years, walking to the shop in the dark, for some reason you'll get the idea in your head to do the lottery using your family's ages. Do it.
