6 exams next week, not revised :|
I'm currently doing GCSE's and I have 6 of the hardest subjects left
    Biology- B4 B5 B6 : Tuesday 12th
    Physics- P4 P5 P6 Wednesday 20th
    Chemistry- C4 C5 C6 Friday 15th
    Maths: Wednesday 13th
and two History papers- one on Tuesday 12th and the other Friday 15th

With regret I can say, I have not revised anywhere near enough for these exams- and I'm not even exaggerating.
I'm not too fussed about physics as I'll about 5 days before hand to cram som revision, but for the other subjects, I feel I can't get my target grades of A in all of them.

In my previous science exams, I memorised everything, learnt it all and managed to get A*'s but I haven't done anything yet for these, and they're only a few days away- I know I am to blame, but things have come in my way, over the last few weeks, which have restricted my revision, and now I'm at a stage, where I'm completely clueless?!?!

I cannot work at all, so I'm hoping someone could help me out, and suggest what the best thing I do is, for revision over the next few days ??

All help is appreciated- I could really use it D:

BBC Bitesize was a fun way for me to do "easier" revision when I did GCSEs - they have interactive quizzes and podcasts that you can download and listen to

this is so wierd. I have exactly the same exams you have and on the same date too.

For bio and physics i would reccomend you use a CGP book and make notes and then answer the questions in the book.

For history, make revision cards and keep testing yourself with dates and things.

For maths, use this to revise: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...7&feature=plcp

    ALSO START DOING PAST PAPERS!!!

Do you have a Mathswatch CD-Rom for Maths? They're really good and if you haven't got one, you should consider buying one (unless this is your last maths exam).

What units are you doing for History?

SAM Learning is VERY good for science revision, and try doing past papers off of the OCR website. For my B4, B5, B6 exam, I did all of the past papers, and you start to notice a recurring pattern of the questions. There was one question I got wrong when doing past papers, and it had come up multiple times, so I revised it and it came up in my exam. SO glad I used past papers

I've used bitesize, and have some of the sheets printed off, just a matter of planting it into my brain I suppose .. and I find the mini-tests helpful, except only a few on there which sucks . Thanks anyhow

Ahaha, good luck with the exams then mate (-8
I have the CGP for Biology, and today I began to use it- it has been helpful-

I think I might manage to do ok in biology now- how are you revising chemistry?? I've not done any chemistry revision at all, at the moment, and I want to do it at A-levels, so yeah- any tips for that ??

I've only done half a topic of history- made a mindmap, but I still cant seem to remember some of the dates etcc $

Actually feel like I may be getting C's rather than the A's I'm meant to D:

This is my last maths exam, so I guess there is no point in purschasing it

For history, I'm doing OCR Modern World History- with paper 1 about steps to ww2, treaty of versailles, weimar germany, hitler's rise to power- and part 2 is German Depth study. Paper 2 is British Depth study- exam is either on Liberal Reforms, Women and the Vote, and Britain during the war I believe

I'll bear that in mind, if by the end of today, I see I'm struggling a lot with biology, I probably will just do past papers, and hope for the best- some people only do that, and ace the exams- thing with me is I need to remember it D:

How did you put the CD on your laptop? Mine won't let me and it's annoying to keep finding the disc every time I want to use it :/

Its just GCSEs. You should be able to get by by doing last minute revision and memorizing as much as you can (provided you have a decent short term memory). Get off the internet, stop procrastinating and start now. You've still got 3 days until the next exam. You can cover loads of content if you maintain a good work ethic. Do take breaks though. Its not good to constantly work.

Make notes on things you don't understand, read through pastpapers and consider the answers, don't bother actually writing them, just read the markscheme, this should save a lot of time.

I found night-before and morning of test revision to be pretty much enough for most GCSE exams if you really worked hard the night before.
