What can I do for 5 months?
The time between University starting and College ending is 5 months, Its coming up this month and I have no idea what I can do in between.

I live in a very strange town in some respects, there are definitely no jobs available and there is neither any volunteer work, I've checked. I'm not a lazy person so I need something to do and thinking about doing nothing for 5 months is driving me crazy.

So far I have a visit to my friend in Ireland and a visit to my friend who has just moved to England planned, I haven't got the money for any other holidays. I'm also working on my fitness and doing some online courses but that's nothing really, for 5 months, is it?

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated

    Sleep
There's loads of stuff you could do- how about trying to self teach yourself a musical instrument? Or writing a novel? As dorky as it is, sometimes I like killing a few hours organising my room- arranging my wardrobe into certain categories or putting books in alphabetical order.
If you can find any pre-reading or related work that you could read before you start Uni, that'd be good as well.

Exercise like mad? spend all day riding your bike around aimlessly and read a few books on the subject you'll be taking next year?
    Practice cooking for yourself?

I was actually thinking of musical instruments, maybe guitar or drums lol, id have to tidy up the shed too, so there's more time to be invested right there

I don't have any books really, so that's also another good idea- thanks !

    Go to the Gym
    Start a Blog
    Start a YouTube Channel
    Learn a Language
    Pick up a Hobby
    Do some Part-Time Work.

I plan to do all of these as I fear a long and boring summer lies ahead.

if you have enough money, you could get a language pack - rosetta stone is good.
you could learn an instrument, or an artistic craft.
    find a project or something

You could work as a Eurocamp or Keycamp courier for a while in France or wherever. You don't get paid much but you can get a lot of memories and can meet loads of people .

Well like you, I have a few months between finishing college and university.

I'm going away for a week or two but other than that nothing.

I am excited THough, I plan to get my guitar out (not played it in months) and clean it all up, sort it out and get really good at that again. I also plan to get a good sleeping plan and get fit. I'm going for hour runs every morning and getting back into bed, doing some more exercise and then having a shower and going about my day.

Read, watch loads of films, get fit, learn something, play an online game, there's really lots of possibilities.
