Collecting Like Terms

I need to completely factorise this

8x 4y + 2x y

I would have collected the like terms 8x + 2x and -4y - y

Which would give me 10x - 5y

Then I would factorise that

So I would get 5(2x-1y)

However on the markscheme it says

(2x y)(4x + 1)

Which I think is wrong.

Am I right

Yes it is wrong unless you typed the initial question incorrectly.

(2x - y)(4x + 1) = 8x^2 - 4xy + 2x - y
