    What to do at uni?
I've just finished year 12 and my AS-Levels, and the subjects I did were:
    German
    English Literature
    Latin
    Ancient History
    Music

I'm 99% sure that I'll be dropping at least music next year, and possibly another (would be ancient history or latin).

I would like to do german at university, but I don't know if it would be a bit pointless on its own without another language. So I'm also thinking about a joint degree of english and german.
Another option I've considered is linguistics, which I think would be really interesting.

In the future I would like to work in media, public relations, advertising... not totally sure yet. I'm open to any suggestions you may have, and my directions might change completely!

I would be really grateful if you have any thoughts or if you have studied any of the subjects I'm interested in at university, or if you have any university recommendations.
    Thank you!

German and another language ab initio, you can often pick up one from scratch so long as the other is from A Level.

English and German like you mentioned, though you'd have to be really enjoy English obviously.

I don't study them subjects, so I can't advise you on them, but I don't know if you've been on the the complete university guide league tables, where they give you rankings of universities for each subject, so you can see the best uni's for german/english, or whatever else you are considering

I won't drop Latin, it sounds strange but many universities like student with Latin A Level. I wasn't good enough to do it but if you get an A for AS, think again. It shows you are a natural in languages.

how about Warwick doing History, you need to read it with one European language.

I have considered law but it seems like a lot of training after degree. But who knows what I might do, it's definitely an option.

english and german is a current preference along with german and history- I've found that exeter and kent don't require history a level so that might be good

    Thank you everyone!
