What A levels did you take?
I am considering taking AS/A levels in English Language, English Literature, Government & Politics and Graphics. I am somewhat worried Graphics would be looked down upon for an English Literature degree - I'd probably drop English Language after AS. Am I right in thinking this?

Are my GCSEs rubbish: AABCCC (As in Eng Lang, Lit, B in Food Tech, Cs in Maths, History and French) - taking extra three GCSEs alongside my A levels (Spanish, Maths and Science).

Also, what AS/A levels did you take, what did you get? What university are you at and what is the name of the degree?

    Follow format below :

    A levels (As grades/predicted A2): biology (a/a), chemistry (b/b), psychology (a/a) and maths (b/dropped).
Degree: (starting sept 2012): molecular biology
    University: (hopefully) st Andrews
    GCSEs: 6a*, 7a

Don't worry too much about what you will drop- I planned on dropping chemistry but ended up dropping maths because I preferred chemistry. Otherwise, looks like a good selection!

AS/A levels taken (Grade): Chemistry (a, predicted A), Biology (a, predicted A), Physics (b, predicted A), English Literature (a, dropped).
    Degree: Medicine
University: Offers from Southampton and Manchester
    GCSEs: English Lit/Lang A/A*; Chemistry A; Physics A*; Biology A*; Maths B; Stats B; R.E. A; History A; ICT A.

Considering you've got three pretty academic A-Level choices, I doubt a university would look down on you for having Graphics, too. However, I'd recommend continuing with the three academic A-Levels and dropping Graphics after AS, as your university offers will be based on the overall A-Level grades you achieve, and you're more likely to get an offer with three academic subjects.

That said, don't forget that it's entirely your decision!

I regret not taking Maths A level though, it's useful, although hasn't stopped me getting into a numerical based job.

I might take it after I've finished studying my professional qualification though, just for the hell of it.

A levels taken: Maths, Further Maths, History, Geography, Biology. Just taken these AS's, awaiting summer results. Probably going to drop F Maths, and keep remaining four into A2.
Degree: Maths and Geography Combined, or Nursing. Conflicted on whether to go for an academic or a vocational routes here.
University: Glasgow or Dundee would be my preference.
    GCSEs: 4 A*'s, 4 A's, 2 B's.
    A* Maths A* History A* Geography A* Biology A Chemistry A Physics A RE A ICT B English Language B English Literature.
