Studying apparently. Now my exams are over I feel lost, like there's a huge gap in my life. I could go to the gym, play some games, see some friends etc but all I wanna do is study. Weird...

Is this normal? I thought I'd be happy now I can finally do what I want but I have no motivation to do anything.
    I get this

I just force myself to go out and have fun and do stuff that I seriously wouldn't normally do. That makes me think WOW think of all the fun I could possibly have this summer ... GCSE summer was ridiculously wild.

I had to take co-codamol for a while and now for medical reasons, and now no other painkiller has any effect on me

Oh and I have also recently stopped consuming copious amounts of caffeine because it got to the point where I felt ill if I didn't have any. I've generally cut down, but I'm still currently sat at my computer with a cafetiere of coffee :teeth:

Football Manager is addictive. Always has been for me. In real life, gambling? If I pop in to Betfred to have a couple of quid on football, then roulette attracts me, etc

I'm not badly addicted to anything though. Nothing serious anyway.
used to be like you - but its a quick downward spiral. if it ever gets bad then there's loads of support. gambling becomes an illness (source: Cambridge Uni ... not so much an addiction) so if you recognise any compulsive behaviours or chasing your loses then get help. the stories at GA are terrible.

    Coffee is my fix

In the past, I think most people have been addicted to either Runescape or Xbox. Those things took years away, I'm glad they both died off.

Twitter... It's eaten up my last academic year, and I'm trying to ease myself off of it a bit before next year. I've made lots of friends through it though, so it's going to be hard to cut down talking levels and lack of updates :/

The internet. I know it's not exactly as big a deal as being addicted to smoking, or gambling, or heroin...but I've noticed that I'm spending more and more time on the PC. I just find it really difficult to motivate myself to do other stuff (even stuff that I enjoy, like reading, or playing the guitar).

Do they make a Netquitin patch?
