Re: The best front 3 there has ever been? That's 4...(Original post by Spaz Man)
Hazard, Hulk, Mata and Torres may be devastating next season... -
Re: The best front 3 there has ever been?Like I said, I'm picking the best 3 if they only play 2 and have one on the bench, or, if they play four.(Original post by manchesterunited15)
What? They never play together? -
Re: The best front 3 there has ever been? Are you sure Neymar will go to Barcelona? Perhaps he fancies Real Madrid?(Original post by TheInvincibles14)
It's not a current front three but Neymar-Messi-Sanchez at Barca in a few years time is a tantalising prospect and will surely stake a claim for the best front three in ten years or so. -

Re: The best front 3 there has ever been?
I think Benz, Pipita and Ronaldo will probably hold that record for a very long time if not forever. Also bear in mind they played something like 6 games less than Barca this season and if they continued their average of 2.2 goals a game (between the 3) that equals out at like 13 goals more. So if they played the same amount of games as Barca they could have easily had 131 goals between them.

Re: The best front 3 there has ever been? That sounds devastating on paper as naymars already on a goal a game, in a easier league mind but he's only 20. If in 4 years time he goes barca Messi will be 28 and in his prime (scary) Naymar will be 24 and coming into his prime(Original post by TheInvincibles14)

Imagine
Neymar Messi Ronaldo
All in their natural positions as well, Ronaldo and messi roaming around the center / right with Naymar on the left. Massive goal orgy as they are all 50 / 60+ goals a season players -
Re: The best front 3 there has ever been?but that's not a front three, that's a rotating front 2(Original post by Manchester United)

Re: The best front 3 there has ever been? But Madrid won the league and this front three scored the most goals. Also, they have the best minutes per goal average; ever. Surely that secures them as the best? Although I do think that Messi, Eto and Henry are the second best.(Original post by Strangeclouds)
Liverpool had some fantastic combinations in the late 80s.
Ronaldo Rooney Tevez was also fantastic.
I think the Messi Etoo Henry trio was better than this years Madrid trio, I support RM too so don't hate. -
Re: The best front 3 there has ever been? What if the defences they've been playing against are relatively poor? Put three Heskeys up front in a primary schools league and they'd destroy all records.(Original post by Manchester United)

Re: The best front 3 there has ever been? What?? The Spanish League is the second best in the world, in addition, the combination of Eto, Henry and Messi was also situated in Spain... you can't assume the defenders were of a different standard and even if they were, it would prove to be negligible. Hence, my point still stands; Higuain, Benzema and Ronaldo are the best three attackers to ever play together.(Original post by Hopple)

Re: The best front 3 there has ever been?I'll add them to the OP, they were an astonishing front 3. Although, the beauty about the invincible's were how the whole team moulded together to produce some of the most beautiful, elegant football.(Original post by Ano1)
Im not saying these are the best, but I do miss them a lot!!!

Henry 38 goals
Pires 19 goals
Ljungeberg 10 goals
67 goals in 2003/04 Invincible's.
Iceman only got 5 goals, but what a player.
