I always loved Henry's finishing and I agree Drogs is terrifying due to his finishing and physical presences.

Romario and Van Basten were great finishers too for those that like to youtube the greats.

Ruud was a far better finisher than henry, although there was something elegant about how henry just opened his body up and passed it into the far corner.
Shevchenko was a brilliant finisher.

The reason I didn't pick Ruud was because he didn't make it look 'elegant' or 'classy', he would often be off-balance or getting pulled, yet still manage to score.

Hernan Crespo - I don't think I've seen a better finisher. Kind of faded in recent years - and not as prolific as the elite names - but at his peak (Lazio & Parma eras in particular) his array of finishing was outstanding, very beautiful finishes, too. Great finish in that CL final v Liverpool, too, which seems to have been forgotten after that comeback!

That's poor reasoning which I was just about to mention -- everyone who has voted Henry has been blinded by style instead of efficiency. Henry's goals ranged from tap-ins to one on ones to mazy dribbles to cool finishes, it's why he's a more complete forward to RVN, however Ruud was the better finisher, one of the best I've seen in my lifetime.

Ole Solskjaer deserves a mention too.

Of the current players, I would say Javier Hernandez is one of the best finishers, which is useful as it's about the only thing he's good at. He does have a weird knack of being in the right place at the right time.

Michael Owen was pretty good too in his pomp.

It's 'my favourite'; not the 'most efficient', and I prefer finishers who make things look classy hence my choices.

Also, it isn't fact that Hernandez just 'appears to be in the right place at the right time', it's due to his movement and reading of the game.

But I stand by my choices;

Higuain > Henry > Benzema > Villa > Gomez

Well compared to fat Ronaldo he is skinny tbf, but I take your point he's in good nick. Depends what you define as skinny I guess - but he has bulked up considerably in the last 5 or 6 years. We'll call him lean. Higuain is on my list lol.
